Thank goodness this wasn't a big tournament.

Dealt pocket 9's, blinds $500 and 1k . I'm in big, utg raises to 3K cut off calls, I call. flop contained a 9. checked around (slow playing), turn is a 9,for those not keeping up (lol) that's Quads for me, with 3 spades on the board. Player in front of me checks, I check last guy bets 5K, other player all in for 17K, I have 19K so of course I just call trying to suck in the other player but he folds.

Ok, I've set them up and I've trapped one player, all is good, right. Dude turns over a flush which of course is what I figured,,,,Wait for it,,,,,the river is another spade filling in his "gutshot" Straight Flush.

That's the 2nd time since playing online for around 3 million hands or so that I've had Quads beaten by a Straight Flush. As they say that's poker.
