Since you were heads-up and he just called on the flop, I'd say you were right in thinking you were ahead on the flop. His raise preflop and shove on the turn would probably have had me believe he had the A, but you say you had a read on his tactics from earlier play, so given all that, your play was reasonable in my opinion.

The only reason he'd be ahead on the flop was the 20-30% of hitting it... Unless you pegged him on pocket-pairs, you made the right call---a pair is a strong hand.

I hate to break it to all you wann-be poker pro's hearts but PO doesn't count winnings from Bovada or from Black Chip B/C I've won plenty on both from PO free rolls & they've never shown up. So you might wanna step down off your high horse, learn what humbleness is & quit FRONTING.

I love how some of you (Not ALL & nothing against PO) love to criticize a player into the ground but don't have much to say when they take your stack at a final table. (If you can get there LOL) Unless its to whine about how some donk lucked out. Face it, some of you are just down right PATHETIC! ROFL pleased get over yourselves, it might improve your game.

Plus not all of us have to "CHEAT" by using HUD's & Trackers to be a winning player.(Which aren't very accurate most of the time BTW, I've looked myself up & most are a total joke.) you could argue its not cheating all day long but try pulling that crap in a REAL Casino or ANY Live Tournament in the WORLD & see how long it takes you to get arrested...... So keep telling yourself how great you are & give yourself a nice pat on the back, I promise your the only one who cares what you think anyways.

I dont think it was the wrong play i think it was the rite play for the situation... but over time playing ALL players like this i agrea that it is 100% a losing play.... and your response to this is the exact type of thing i was looking for when i posted this!!! Constructive honest criticizem instead of "you suck your donk" which is what i got when i called the guy lol
