Obv.they know each other. NEither one wanted to commit to the hand completely showing weakness. Weakness in client? is legendary. You're in for $1k your in for another $1,800 in client. But yes, If I'm in this hand - or anybody worth a damn doesnt fold your toast - cuz Id have a king or over pair hole cards etc... if you shove on flop thatd be the only way out.
Good soid client hand though. You never fold in client.
