You know what? It just feels good to have some clue as to what I'm doing now and not be the one getting felted and thinking it was due to "bad luck".

I started at $50 on BCP. Went down to $34 before I realized that I just didn't have any idea what I was doing and I wasn't going to be able to just steamroll the micros without studying. I took a few days and did nothing but play WPT tournaments, study forums, and watch videos. Tonight, I bumped my bankroll back up to over $43. Looking to start really hitting the sit and go's hard when I get my bankroll a little higher.
Good work on building back up your bankroll!

    I couldn't agree more!

I've heard having an ego in poker is very counterproductive so if it is a problem I'll have to try and keep it in check. I was just running good yesterday thats all. Today.... Not so much.....

Perhaps I am using the term incorrectly.

Take it from me: Ego and pride often get in the way of progress with anything the general public deems complicated and challenging.

Watch the next time you win a big pot online. You're going to have a tendency to widen your ranges and bet more right after because you feel stronger and more capable lol.

the best is when they hang around to chat and swear and yell at no one in particular.

I had a similar line of thought about a year ago and it was a slight ego problem for me, lead to over confidence and thinking I could play too many hands. Just be aware of it and try to evaluate honestly weather it makes you more likely to start over playing hands or play to many hands.
