    besides pushing on the river or folding pre I really don't think I coulda played this better.... I feel that if I had pushed on river he woulda called anyway. Any opinions on this hand?

    I don't think you have to bet the flop and you really don't have to bet the turn. You had a piece of it so you had showdown value with chances to improve. There is no reason to bet here. Against most players the "Best" you can hope for is to fold out a queen or say jj.

    Also you bet to much each time......If he is going to fold you don't have to bet that much to get the job done.

    It also depends on how the other guy was playing generally - looks like he was a calling station, so you could probably safely have checked when you figured you were behind and not have to worry about him betting against you
