I'm not for conspiracy myself and feel their are many more arguments for a legitimate site than one that is corrupt. But I'm sure there have been many different corruptions in many different forms. Some have come to light. I imagine the majority haven't. Still I would have to believe most major sites do their best to provide a fair game as it is in their own best interest.

@FrankWhite - legitimate is tuff to define - Im sure if the USA takes control of a poker site there will be many things not legitimate that would be far worse, and harder to overcome, than someone colluding in a $2 game

Like taxing your deposit at 10% and your "winnings" at 40% while not accounting for losses. That would kill the game for professional players.
