    Bankroll building on Bovada

I joined Poker Owned a couple of weeks ago, and I won a Bovada freeroll, a couple of nights ago earning $5.60. I used that to join a $4.4o sng and placed 2nd, and then another and placed first, and I now have almost $30, which is enough of a bankroll to continue to play the $4 sng's. I've heard of people funding their poker accounts with only freerolls and making a ridiculous amount of money but havenever tried before. I'll post an update if I make it into anything...or go bust. Goodluck at the tales everyone!

Nice job. It is hard sometimes to build from freerolls but it can be done. What your money close and if you see yourself starting to loose then stop playing for a few days and go back.

I have built a bankroll on some poker site just from freerolls and I got it up to 50$. It's definitively doable but it takes A LOT of grinding. Gl with your grinding and may variance be with you!!!

After dumping reload after reload my new plan of action is to find as many online deals for freeroll entries and grind my way from there. It seems like it shouldnt be that hard with all the free information out there. I would love to pull a Cole South and make 5 figures my first year from my 2nd deposit of 50$ ever and then the following 2 years make 7figures... It seems like if you can follow a strict bankroll management plan and even play standard ABC you can be very profitable... I wish Bovada had actual screen names instead of numbers so you can actually recognize the regulars and make notes... Key to success is written in every book. My buddy whos a midstakes pro preaches of Table selection and seat selection. I used to think he was an amazing poker player but really hes quite a nit and just picks great spots. well enough to be a millionaire. But he also made his bread and butter from PLO8 many a years ago before Omaha caught on so his edge was large. Also PLO8 is a great bankroll building game. Low volitility, Because there is a split pot you usually stand a good chance to not go busto as you would in any NoLimit Game. Many people are under the impression that most pot limit games are harder to make money because of the betting. But the game actually plays larger than most NL games. I once turned 200$ in a 2/5/10 game into 1200 after scooping 2 pots! and also its a great game to acquire rakeback also. Bovada has a decent amount of omaha8 games so check them out!
