About LinkBacksI get it but after he raises you what hand are you putting him on? I'm not saying fold but it has to at least be in your thoughts. After 4 cards to the straight are on the board what are you trying to figure out with the bet there.

Ok, so honestly, it's not THAT bad of a beat, right? you do the standard 3xbb raise preflop and he calls with AJ... not too uncommon. On the flop, you're really not that far ahead. You have one out to improve, 8 outs to tie. He has 8 outs to tie and 3 outs to beat you, plus a chance to backdoor a flush or a better straight. It sucks, absolutely, and I'd have been saying some 4-letter words in your place, but at least you weren't beaten by truly donkish behavior
