2-7 single draw winner!

Can't believe I won this freeroll believe it or not this is only my 3rd 2-7 draw tournament! I've won access to a cash tournament on Sunday. Top prize of this is $215 so not shabby start to rebuilding a bankroll! Wish I had this kind of luck on Hold em/Omaha tourneys! My tips well when deep only keep hands with at least 3 cards below 10 chuck every other hand and you won't go wrong. Fold 10 high hands to large re-raises more often than not they'll have the absolute nuts or very near to it! Wait for a better spot to slam them! Gettin 2,3,4,5,7 twice in a row did improve my bankroll a tad mind you ha ha!! Roll on Sunday!

Thanks folks I'll just use the same strategy I did last night. I'd only had 2 n a bit hours sleep yesterday(burned candle at both ends) and I had a pounding migraine so I have no idea how I never tilted from the coolers that happened to me!!

The truth is, your odds on that sole tourny are tiny. The run of cards you need to win freerolls can only be done realistically with several tournament freerolls a week. If you feel good at tournaments, I'd lend you money to play for points to reach iron or chrome on 888 to play the freerolls there. You'll likely place third or first in them a few times a month for an easy 50-100$ freeroll bankroll in a month? Easier than Pokerstars, since you need to enter a satellite just as long as the next tourny just to get into 1-2 tournies on the weekend. You sound like a good tournament player, wouldn't mind seeing you try your luck at some of these fish tournaments that 888 has.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! What type of poker are the tournaments you are speaking of? Think I have an 888 account but I have heard they have a bad rep on other forums/internet. You had any trouble with them? I haven't played the poker just did their casino freebie as I wasn't playing much poker then. Is it draw/stud you are talking about or holdem/omaha?

First time it was my starting hand stood pat and the second hand was 2 drawn to make it. I could hardly believe I got it twice! Thanks very much Sundays tournament I have seeded into is stud so a harder variation of poker especially if it's 3 streets of drawing. I'll just play super tight!!
