I've gotta say, I agree with a higher % point deduction, 5% would be pretty cool. But I am sure you chose the 3% after some research. Besides, if it is successful at 3% then later you can consider going to 5%. Who knows? It has only been a couple days since the start of the promo and already it gets a bit of action.

That 3% would come from Surveys alone? Or from everyone's points regardless of how they obtained them?

welll i am havin a lot of trouble finiding any new surverys to do at all for points tho.. so at this points,, id r ather not getin any points dedcuted from me, right now,,,, if i,m not gonna play in the client,, I think we should be given the Choice,, at least tho ,,, free choice to play there i mean if we want to or not, and if we dont wanna give points, or now ok gl

Firstly, if you are not doing surveys then you would not be affected by any % withheld from the tasks themselves. Zab would not be going into peoples accounts and just arbitrarily take points either... at least I don't think he would

Second, if you are talking about the tournaments, Zab could raise the tournament cost/entry for any reason he wanted. Realistically, if this promotion gets more people interested in the site (which I think it will) then I would just raise the cost/entry and not even ask about it.

This promotion is pretty awesome. Break it down like this: When you signed up for this site originally, why did you do it? You wanted to build your bankroll for free, for whatever reason. Originally, you did this by getting points to buy-in to Full Tilt tournaments. Now that Full Tilt is no longer a U.S. option, Carbon has been added to supplement. No matter what though, the opportunity to grow your bankroll was restricted to the timing of the tournaments, or your personal availability of surveys.

What this promotion does is significantly help those who have a hard time getting points. Simply by completing 100 points in survey's/week, you have a chance to win $1 OR 560 PO Points. Imagine you had a hard time taking survey's for points. Now, you don't even need to get enough points for a tournament entry and you can simply play this "Chips for Cash Dash" and win 560! And best yet, you can win points no matter what time of day it is! This whole project will level the playing field as it relates to points earning in this system. Have a hard time getting points from surveys? Simply get 100 each week and you can win whatever points you need going forward!!

I love this promotion. I think once people (ESPECIALLY those who don't have a lot of points or have a hard time earning points through surveys) learn that this promotion basically gives them another easier way to earn points, this will take off and people will be BEGGING Zab to take a higher percentage of points.

But that may be just me.
