I would imagine you wouldn't earn the points until the username is registered. I am not sure if there is a way he can prorate the points.

I would think that signing up for swc threw the link should b enough to start earning. Hope it get's worked out cuz it's worth a few hundred points to me already

That makes me reluctant to start grinding on a new account just yet. I may wait until everything gets worked out. How has the traffic been on SWC?
