Refer a friend upgrade thoughts..

Refer a friend is one of the LEAST used features we have on this site and the EASIEST way you can earn points.

Currently you get 5% of any points your referrals earned.


So my question, why aren't you referring anyone?


And my answer and further question:

WOULD THIS MAKE YOU REFER OTHERS?

- Increase referral rate from 5% to 10%
- Add 2 more tiers (Tier 2 3%, tier 3 1%)
- Add the 'I win, You win' Anytime your referral wins real money in a tournament you win points. If he wins $5.70 you would get 57 points. This works in reverse also (just less points) if you win $3.00 ALL your referrals would get 15 points
- Add a 'who referred you' on sign up so you can have people tracked to you via link or "bonus code"



So again, would this make you refer others?

I've tried really hard to refer people. No one I know seems very interested in poker tho.

because i dont know many/any people that play poker...most either dont know the game or show interest then never sign up :/

I wouldn't say it's pointless, but I think this site is catering to a lot of degens. Most degens are kinda in their own world -- meaning their friends, family, etc. don't share the same desires as they do when it comes to poker and such.

I have referred a few people here, but it's the same with any of my refs on any sites. They sign up and then either do very little or nothing.

I think changing the tiers and the ref earnings percentages would give more of an incentive.
