Here are my latest spec's on the entire task ticker upgrade. I want to start this next week. The area that I am still having problems with, is how to get the news out there's something that a lot of people are converting.

We use "Hot Surveys" but we manually enter them (I was thinking about having this done automatically)
What about some other ideas?


Anyways, here's the specs so far:

Task Ticker Upgrade:
• Redesign with the new changes (Can we make it slightly smaller and get more offers in there or make tournament lobby bigger to match)
• + to add my offers to task ticker (Right now you have to be survey VIP to get your offers added to the task ticker) We need this for new users and people that want to get credit for follow the leader. This is old code that needs updated
• Add the 4 new items to the main pokerowned.com page
• Add popup like instagc.com with all the information for the last 48 hours
• Add the follow the leader upgrade
1. Pop up (Drop down window shade? What will get the users attention) occurs for any offer over 25 points (Not Crowd Flower, Not something that’s already live in follow the leader). This will take the place of the “What’s working” bonus (When you enter in stuff here it auto goes into the What’s working). Clicking this takes you to the follow the leader instructional page
2. Users can add information about the offer and how to convert them (Mods can erase them and ban them from adding information just like Ad Ticker) – 2 fields. One for info\how to convert it and 1 for how long it took them to convert (Pull info if they are from the USA etc?)
3. Users will be able to add a name to the offer for the sites that don’t tell us what the offer is (All except Matomy, Peanut Labs, PO Tasks). Any offers that are converted for the exact same points at the exact same site will be assumed to be the same offer for 48 hours from the time the first offer was done.
4. If a user adds information to an offer, it shows up in the task ticker that information HAS been added
• The FIRST person to do the offer will be the “Leader”. There are 2 types of leaders. #1 is a passive leader, #2 is an active leader and they breakdown as follows:
• Passive Leader: This user will get a 1% bonus on any of the same offer. (This user isn’t doing anything to help others basically)
• Active Leader: This user will get a 5% bonus whenever someone completes the same offer within 30 minutes. The timer resets to 30 minutes every time someone completes the task. This user will have the following abilities (An active leader is defined as someone who adds the name of the offer followed a description of how to better complete the offer). Only the current leader can see the timer and mods \ admin. Otherwise users might wait for it to expire then do the offer becoming the leader.
1. He will be able to bump the offer in the task ticker *TASK BUMPED* once every 3 minutes thus putting the offer back in the task ticker
2. Mods will be able to delete \ remove leaders and block them just like Ad Ticker if they deem it unhelpful, spammy or abusive.
3. Ad ticker type option below the current one? TBD
• At the conclusion of the Leader time a new person can become the leader on the same offer. They will have to input their own helpful description (All descriptions are shown). They will be asked if this was the same name or if it is something new.
• Hot Offers: We need to redo this. If an offer is converted 3 times in 24 hours, do what swagbucks does? Send a PM to all? Or do we want to show these as “hot” surveys.


Part 2 ‘Monthly Bonus Gauge’ --> Phase 2, won't be done right away
• Gauge right in the task
• Gauge fills up as the users earn their points
• For every 500 points you get from follow the leader, 1000 points will be released into your account
• All gauges are reset at the start of the month
