New Upgrade Idea - PObay, a Schiller's dream

This one is pretty simple in concept and would really clean up the marketplace big time, plus allow the Cookies/Dalsue's of the world to still operate fairly.

Lets say I have 10 lock I wanna sell. I set a baseline price, length of time for auction and bid increment (50 pts, 100 pts, etc.).

Bidder escrows the points as they go along (make it clear that once they escrow they can't withdraw IF they are the top bidder - if you're out bid your points should be refunded back to the account).

Here's the catch - too many times in the marketplace does the advertiser of the item either not trade it (thereby creating these dumb issues) or lost it at the tables. For this to work, somehow there has to be an account to trade it too (this isnt mandatory but would make it run smoother).

Benefits:
- The marketplace gets cleaned of most of the shit clogging it up
- Free market still reigns supreme (these guys can run concurrent auctions every hour if they want)
- Channel 1 is for actual poker and Patriots talk.

yes and i think this would work very well great idea.... plus when ur in market and u click to trade sometimes the person isnt on and u have to wait for them and u do a deal thats not as good as u want so therefore the person that has it for sell at auction must be present when the selling is going on so it could be a instant trade...and in order to put stuff in auction maybe u must submit photo id to zab to verify it and in order to bid u have to do the same thing...help get rid of scammers...just throwing ideas back at u man..or maybe u would have to be verified and escrow some points to buy into the auction that would also help get rid of broke ass ppl trying to scam the honest poker players here...i am sick of reading about my fellow members getting scammed. i no zab has been trying to help but there is only so much he can do before we have to start taking our own stand against this and i think rivdee has a good start with this idea so please make some more posts and get this idea to life...
