the odds of someone winning this are easy to figure if you simplify it down to everyone is equally skilled, which obviously isn't true but a big part of poker is also luck, which should be same for everyone (I believe some have more luck than others, but thats for a different thread) and for comparison I think that assumption will give us a close enough estimate. Basically, assuming average of 50 players before in the carbon fr's, odds of someone winning b2b would be 1 in 50 if all had equal chances of winning each tourney (obviously, each player has a 1 in 50 shot if all are equal, so whoever won previous would have 1 in 50 shot at winning next one). Now, using same assumptions, and say average is 15 players now, odds of winning b2b2b will be 1 in 225, so 4.5 times less likely, so imo, the 50% is a little to low and should be at least the percentage it was before. Obviously there are many other factors, like sometimes the winner can't play next one, players are not equal, etc. But if you look at results, 1 in 50 with 4 tourneys a day would come to little over 2 winners a month, which isn't too far off the norm back then, now there has been 1 winner in like 4 or 5 months (didn't count cause of default) which is close to what is expected at those odds. Just saying, think its obvious this isn't hitting as often as before so payout should go back up, imo.
