Can you make it so that the first X times they log in after registering, there is a pop-up that says "READ THIS READ THIS READ THIS" telling them about the proper way to manage trades/loans/etc? I know there will be some who just click through it but if you make it blatant enough you can catch the majority and then those who don't care ... meh, they make their own bed.
Maybe also include in those instructions that they should report anyone who is trying to finagle a trade without using the form?

Here are my thoughts on the scamming issue. Most of the accused scamming going on recently are just people that aren't going through the systems already in place. If someone has the option of going through the system in place and doesn't, just ignore them. It's their own fault.

1. For those that are circumventing the system, some are noobs that skipped over the Beginners Guide. Can you do an upgrade where for the first month someone is a member they have a big, obnoxious banner that links to the guide. That way whenever they have questions they have a hard time ignoring the link to the information.

2. Some kind of middle man upgrade would be useful for whenever someone does a trade that doesn't involve points. I'm fortunate enough to have the points to just do 2 separate trades whenever I've done this.

3. It may be helpful to break the Marketplace thread into 3 separate sections: Marketplace Trades, Staking, and Trade Issues/Scamming.

4. Any new users have to be phone verified before they can use the marketplace. If someone has known issues, they have to pay for an id verification as well before they can use the marketplace again.
-Oh and if some of the older members get verified, can we get start to clear up some of this multi-accounter confusion. There are quite a few actual honest members that have accounts tied to us that just aren't accurate.

up top you have 2 options to go to the forums, take out the "Green Visit Forums" box and replace with the new idea since you have the other box that says "Forums next to Home and Promotions"...........

so the trades dealing with points will be under the new system ? are you getting rid of the escrow/release system for points?

Sounds like a decent plan to me. I hope that it does help. It's a shame though that this is needed. And it is needed.

my system is easy. never trade with a scammer that had scam before. Look for acitve member to trade with and never trade with newbies. Boom. havent got scam so far by my system yet.

stop the practice of loaning points altogether!! The default list proves this is bad practice!!

4) Phone verified will work for the marketplace trades, the issue is the bubble chat trades

No, this system works flawlessly already (As long as you don't release points early, if you do... thats on you.. there are numerous warnings)
