Increase tournament Points requirements for March?

Right now the FTP are at 150 points (They were 200)

Trying to find the happy middle here..

There were over 50 opted in tonights freeroll, this is a good thing but wanted to know if you wanted me to increase the points to keep the numbers down?

I don't mind a 50 person pool, it all just depends on the prize structure (mainly how many places are paid).

What would you rather it be? Top heavy or more places paid?

Definitely increase them! make them 175 or 200 it will make them smaller

Well (depending on the amount of people) I think that final table is fair. Obviously if there are only 15 people it should be less, and if there are 100 maybe a some more.

This is what I think, I'd have one stay at 150 pts per day, and add a higher one a day too. That way, you always have the regular 150 pts one going on, and if ppl feel that there's too many people in it, they can play the higher pts buy in one too.

You could always run a trial period on that too.

People complain about it being hard to get pts sometimes, you don't want to drive any traffic away. Create more options, not less.

Yeah, Codd's got a good idea there, but it might be better to do that a few times a week depending on how much money you've got handy to fund freerolls.

How many people play in FRC? 100+ per day?

The ones at night seem to attract more people, thinking I'll run the restricted at 4:30 this week and 8:30 next week.

Eventually doing 4:30, 8:30 & 10:30 or something
