How much time do you need?

Right now Carbon is set at 35 seconds to enter the password.

When we were doing FTP at its peak, we had it at 18 seconds.

With 7 sneaks in tonight's tourney, I have lowered the 9pm tournament to 27 seconds.


My question is: How much time do you really need? Is 15 seconds enough? 20? 25?

I think 15 is very short, I already missed one or two tourneys, I thin 20 to 25sec would be nice.

18 seconds definitely seemed to work at ftp. people get accustomed to paying close attention at the time of the freeroll. hardly anyone missed and it did seem to keep the leaks to a min.

15 to 18 seconds should work. Maybe that will help with the sneaks. But, I dont think they are really sneaks. I think they are members with another carbon account.

I think maybe have one tournament at 15 seconds and leave the others alone as the control. See if you get too many complaints and refund requests. Monitor the sneaks, etc. I think though, some people who have slower computers might not 15 seconds. Even if everything is open and ready to go, sometimes, shit just happens that prevents us from registering.

I lowered the one last night from 35 to 27 which seemed to help or maybe it's just hit or miss
