When you first sign up, you enter your city state

You get kicked to be verified.

We do an IP Look up (It better match your city, state you entered)
We call your phone # (It cannot be a VOIP)
We do a reverse phone lookup (It better match your city, state AND Ip lookup)
We look for multiple accounts (Anything close to the same phone #, IP etc)

It's very hard to get around.

I think this is an excellent idea Zab, I think the mod feedback can prevent alot of it. There are quite a few that just linger in bubble chat looking for the transactions so there is no way they victim gets a heads up till we see their I got scammed thread and its too late.

I'll redo the staking section as well.. Very simple

    2 users..

Person MAKING THE STAKE --> Enter the name of the person you are staking
Person MAKING THE STAKE --> Enter the amount you are staking them
Person MAKING THE STAKE --> Enter the poker site making the stake for
Person MAKING THE STAKE --> Enter the date for the stake
Person MAKING THE STAKE --> Enter the terms \ agreement \ payback

Person WANTING THE STAKE --> Click Accept or Deny

If you accept the stake then................

Person MAKING THE STAKE --> Add feedback Positive or Negative feedback with comments after the tournament is over and he\she did or didn't pay you

There's no insurance here, nothing automatic.. But it should warn people in the future

well that all makes sense... I don't go to the loan shark myself... I see on the WSOP Leaderboard shows some people in red that aren't very creditworthy on here... best to be your own man at poker.... just sayin'

If someone was doing a large trade, the traders could say "Yes I'll trade with you, but first get phone verified and then PAY for yourself to get ID verified and then I will trade with you"
It would definitely be on the user to pay for the id verification, but I feel that would help limit the number of traders to those that take trading more seriously.

    I'm all for this.

My only additional idea is that I think a user should be able to request an updated mod rating every two months or so, just because some ratings may be due to newness or lack of trade history.

Thanks Zab. This would help a lot.

Its good that you are having these measurements to put a stop to scamming! but i am afraid that it isnt enough. but if people are a little bit bright they can see who are scammers.
