Advertisement Ticker? (A solution)

I got it.. what about a ticker that happens just below the chat box? 1 line only.. max # of words.. it would look like the image attached

Questions would be:

1) Who gets access to this (Everyone?) I don't want it spammed up. Only verified people? Only approved people?
2) Should we make it cost like 1-5 points to use it? Add those points to the progressive prize pools?
3) How long in between posts? 5 minutes? 10 minutes?
4) Should we make it so you never have to view it? [ X ] close it out?

Also, how long should the post stay up? 1 minute? what if someone else 'buys' or 'does' one? Does it immediately switch over or do we make them wait.

I say make them wait.. each ad lasts 1 minute

You could always do it auction-style. Highest bidder gets the message for XX minutes. Auto-start bidding for next spot.

1. All verified that aren't in default, banned etcc.
2. 5 points is fair, cost you 1 post
3. Between rotation? id say 1 min when its busy at most, if not many then 2-5 min

If only one person can post at a time then yes it should cost points to use.
