Swittie found this, let's use as much of this as possible:
How are the player scores calculated?
The scores are calculated according to a simple exponential formula. Each player gets a score based on their final position and the total number of entrants in each event, rounded off to the nearest non-decimal value.
Formula: Multiplier^(Entrants-Position+1) = Score.
Where the Multiplier is whatever number which raised by the number of entrants would equal the number of entrants.
For example in a league event with 500 entrants, the winner would get a score of 500, the runner-up a score of 494, the #250 finisher a score of 22 and the last place a score of 1.
(This is something we should consider, like a reverse scoring system. if you take first place in a field of 88 then you get 88 pts? I don't quite get how it goes down from 88 - 1 though without it being -1 at a time)
How are the team scores calculated?
When a player competes in a league event and gets a score, the player can also get a team score.
For a player to get a team score he or she must obviously be a member of a team, and at least one other member of that team must have played in the same league event.
The team score each player gets is the same as the average score of all of the team members who played in the event.
The team rankings is based on that average, not on the total score of all members. There is therefor no advantage to have a lot of members except of course to increase the chance that someone reaches the final table.

Make it avg finish position for the day by a percentage... finish 10/100 in carbon gets you in the top 10% of field, and 3/30 in bcp gets you 10%, then say you get 12/30 in juicy for 40%. Avg those for the day and get (10% + 10% + 40%) / 3 = 20%
Every team avg. their players percentage for the day, week, month and the lowest % wins! (meaning you finished in higher positions based on number of players in game)... That way there is no restriction on how many you can play and does not disadvantage those who can only play one game a day.

What about...
Points are recorded for each game: 1 point for showing up to the game, 1 point for each player an individual lasts longer than, 2 bonus points for per place on the final table. 10th + 2, 9th +4, 8th +6 etc..
Example
88 person field, you finish in 1st.
+1 points For playing
+87 points for lasting longer than 87 other people
+ 20 points for final table bonus (1st place = 20 pts)"And Shepherds we shall be. For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand. Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

I am thinking we could do...
Teams are made up of 5 people max.
We take your teams score of your TOP 3 people (maybe 2?) and add them together
Then we take your teams TOP 3 tournaments of the day
So if only 1 person played all day long, and the other 4 didn't.. Then thats your score from that 1 person's best 3 games..."And Shepherds we shall be. For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand. Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

In the beginning God said : "The four dimensional divergence of an antisymmetric second rank tensor equals zero", and at once there was light.

I like cumulative score of all team members, or its like the NBA where you need a star player to compete, 5 good players should be able to outscore 2 great ones IMO.
