what is the best way to build a bankroll? i mean is it SitNGos, MTTs or Cashgames? I always find myself switching from one to the other but i think i'm doing it wrong because my bankroll hasn't moved a bit for a long time now.

if I had to make a choice just from my experiances on carbon cash game is the best way. with all the late registration the mtt sick and for some reason I just have bad luck in sngs
It depends on your style of play to some degree. Check your stats in various games and make your call.
Making sure you stick to what you play best. If you are good at Cash or SnG stick to that until you build a bankroll then you can expand.
It depends mostly on you..... What you prefer, what you're good at. MTTs have higher variance so i wouldn't choose primarily MTTs for building bakroll. Though if u follow BRM it doesnt matter what you choose as long as you're profitable playin the game.
i like the MTT's very easy for profit especially with the tournament setup
I think that it depends on how BIG bankroll you would like to achieve. If you will be confident with couple of bucks than playing freerolls should complete it without any suffer (but for a longer period probably)!
Just playing sitngo mtt or simple sitngo. I earn my best goals playing at least 4 tables at time and can earn a good bankroll for me ( just a beginner)
MTTs are the way to go, big prizes if you can cash high up, and you don't have to sit and grind all day and barely break even like on SNGs.
Start with SNGs then move over to cash. If you're playing NLHE 6max tables start with 20x max buyins.
depends on wich client you play, pokerstars has a sick middle section in cash games with good players, but Pkr has allot of fish on that level. Tourneys nd sngs are the same in my eyes on allot of sits.
depends on the site. Pokerstars, you can build a great bankroll by playing the 180 person sngs. I personally got my start on those when all there was was the $4/180 $11/180 and $22/180 non-turbo sngs. Now they have the $1's $2's $4s $7s $11s $15s allt he way up to $65s.
On carbon they have sngs as well as hyper-turbo sngs and mtts that are good. I personally got a br on carbon by depositing $100 playing a $33 sunday superstack and winning it for $4500
if you are on the Winning Poker Network, they have the on demand tournaments 55 cents will get you between $11 and $20 if you win. They also have the Big10 tournaments that are a really good value.
In one word PRAY !!!!
call yourself josh and borrow from someone then trade it to dpad and cry fowl.
Then bet on midget water polo games and make sick parlay bets.
go to account - cashier - get out wallet pull out cc and make deposit
40 BUY INS minimum starting - CASH RING GAMES
60 BUY INS - SNG
100 BUY INS FOR MTT
use the new seals with clubs feature possibly. other than that I am not the right person to be talking about this much.
good rules zyzooo that is probably a good number of buy ins to have
Best way is play some where other then Carbage :)
MTT's have the bigger potential for ROI (compared to SNGs), but you have to make sure you have the time to really devote to them - if you get impatient, you're just throwing your buy-in away
Ha! Can't endorse the praying. I'd vote for low-level S&Gs.
play freerolls and utilize bankroll management?
Depends on where you want to start. Min risk, start with freerolls, and micro-limit SNG's, MTT's, and cash games. Basically, for BR management, do not risk more than 5% of your bankroll in a given session if you can help it, and adjust the game limits as needed. Also, it helps to find games you can crush, limits you can crush, in order to build the bankroll. Back when I played on PS regularly, I tried a $5 to $500 challenge with a friend, and we both hit that number playing a mix of games including SNG's and MTT's. The key was to play within the 5% risk rule. I didn't start playing $0.01/$0.02 until I had 50 BB's for the 5% stake ($20.00 total bankroll), and until then, I was playing freerolls. The entire process took about 6 months of part-time playing.
Thanks Guys for all the advices. i think i'm going to stick to Sit N Gos for now because when i check my stats, i'm doing very poorly on cash. and i'm averaging like 4-5 wins for every 10 sngs.
very intresting
Bet on the Warriors and over for the whole year.
sngs are the best way to build a bankroll there isnt much what can go wrong like on a cash table or like a bigger tourney
I think all depends on the person look at phil hellmuth great tourney player gets his but kicked in cash games.I mean what are trying to do
what are your goals, are you trying to get a steady income,or you trying to take the one big shot that starts a bussiness or pays of a house
I fink its depends on your poker skill , if you good at 1v1 you can go to sit&go . if you beter with masses peapole you should go to turnaments , if you good on siting one tabble you shuld chose cashgames :P
