Playing Ace-King or Big Slick OOP(Out of position). I will probably make a standard 3xBB-4xBB bet to make those players with marginal hands to fold to prevent them from donking our chips out.

i would fold ethier someone has the same hand or has pocket pair and you dont want to go against that
As has been said, it depends on what kind of game you are playing, your reads, and if you are in a tourney or sng what stage of it you are in. Cash game I would call though.
in cash games or in tournaments? it is very different i think
I would call and pray for a decent flop, especially on AK suited...
well i don't play ace king well... i loose alot with them.... but i also loose with aces....
I hardly ever hit an ace or a king when I have a-k, especially on FTP. When I do, sumbody else hits a set w/ their small pockets or hits 2 pair w/ ace-rag or king-rag, even if they are the only other person in the hand. I don't lose w/ a-a very often, cuz I hardly ever slow play them. If I have k-k, tho, there's almost always an ace on the flop. I still bet, in case nobody has an ace, or has a very weak ace, but when sumbody folds an ace, even pre-flop, then sees at the end that u had k-k, it makes them always want to play their aces next time, no matter how weak their kicker is.
i really dont have GL with AK either,, i like to be in good position when i play AK in a tounrey,, and would fold there,,, if near bubble in a tourney too. in a cash game,, i would want to see flop tho.:)
whats the setting there?
if its cash game and 6max table, i would always 3 bet, (3-3.5x in position and 4-4.5x oop) and cbet any flop..
I would normally call just to draw people in. On the flop I take out the donks.
Your suppose to raise if it's late stage, remember AK is decieving if you can learn to fold the AK.. the more money/tournements you will win but it's very very hard to.
no hand is a gtr8 hand any1 can screw u with junk
hey guys AK is a hand very very well ,,becouse have much off for win
for take play to good
I think u fold
i call depending on how big the raise... is...
What's your position, chipstack size, what are your opponents chipstack look like, it all depends. Is it a tourney or cash game. Specifics are necessary for me to answer.
a-k is very hand for have yours hardiest is a hand hard of fold
Its sick when u raise 5 x blind someone calls you hit they then shove with 5-7 for two pair sick
Depends on the image and notes you have on the two players.
If it is opened (raised BB) then re-raised, AK is usually behind at this point. Your stating "out of position" so that either means your on the blind or have limped in, since you have some money invested it is time to think about your opponents. Do they raise light, are they aggressive or they tight. Can you do a squeeze play, what can YOU represent?
I think 90% of the time your folding in this situation but take all maters into thought.
clarity of stack sizes, raised amount, depth of tournament and image play a huge factor that have not been addressed
AK is something that i stick with if the call is managable. It depends on your stack.
It all depends on the players and the stacks. Call, Fold, and Raise are all options and it all depends on the situation.
AK out of position i usually just call and only bet sometimes, because its shooting in the dark. you want to avoid rushing to get your money in the middle when you havent seen a flop.
you have to know more about the situation and the players around u to decide
I thing that depends of some situations: how may chips you have, how many chips the opponent have, how the 2 players play on the table...but i thing you have to call...in general!!!

Depends on your chip count and how late in the tourney it is. There are so many factors that come into play.
