To funny but true thats why if I ask for something I tell you not to expect it back

I feel the same way about the lending, borrowing, etc... Unless I know someone fairly well (which in reality how well can you know someone online) but I have built trustworthy friendships online that are successful. Other than that, when dealing with virtually someone unkown, I like to go by the rule that I do not borrow and do not lend.
If I was to break that rule, the loss would be my fault.

I do think though that everyone here makes their own decisions and should already know the risks, if not live and learn.

Yup, its called exaggeration and it gets the point across,

New members may be unaware of the facts, involving losing there points by lending them.

Thinking that there is some recourse if they cant get payed back,

and because it is done so openly, it appears to be a safe transaction.

Newbies can be preyed on and negative acts performed would continue.

This is one of my general rules, to be very very careful in online things...

I am relatively new, seeing all the lending I did think it was common and relatively safe, which I quickly found not to be true. Maybe a thread should be started listing all the borrowers that didnt pay back. I don't really see the need to borrow, I've made thousands of pts off tasks, not that difficult. You can post, watch videos, scratch lottery ticket, not a lot pts for these but you can do it everyday. I agree with sprocket, don't lend unless you don't care if you don't get it back.

I am a lender so you are calling me a moron. Well your a fucking idiot. Some people around here are good people and very trustworthy, others are not. Some people around here are educated, others are not. Everytime you open your mouth you continue to disapoint me. You really are an idiot.

Unfortunately there is like a group of people who if you loan to you might be lucky to see the loan repayed. But saying that i think that the trustworthy people outweigh the untrustworthy. Its just a matter of the untrustworthy being louder and more frequent in their begging.

The one thing people need to look out for is when someone complains in chat about not being able to do any surveys etc, and then asking for a loan. These people obviously have no intent to do any surveys so why would you expect them to have the points to pay you back. Also there is a group of client degenerates who beg for like 200 pts and then go sit at the 10/20 game where everyone else has like 2k, and try for a miracle.

But there majority of people here deserve the benefit of the doubt. Just because the minorty is louder and more frequent in begging doesnt mean they are the majority.

Daytradin, All i can say is, your the problem, with lending, cause you know who your going to be paid back by,

Do you lose money when players use their Points and Carbon cash, to trade between themselves.

Or do you make money when they redeem through YOU.

I don't think it should be taken down. I do understand where sprocket is coming from to a degree, that new people should know that it is at their own risk and there is no recourse, and there are scammers that will ask to borrow.
However, I think the title of this thread is a bit strong, not everyone who asks for a loan is a scammer and not everyone who loans is an idiot.

I would encourage anyone thinking about lending anyone points to check the feedback section.

Don't get me wrong, I dont want to take it down.

Just use EXTREME CAUTION when using the marketplace

Second off, Zab's post is right below yours and acknowledges that trading is ok "If you guys want to continue to trade, you do so at buyer beware.."

Third off, get some edumacation. There is no such thing as "Player to player Redeem" and I tried to explain this to you in chat yesterday but you are too ignorant and or stoopid to understand. A redemption occurs when points are removed from the supply. They are no longer outstanding. There is edge and small profit for Zab in that transaction. Trading is an open market function and has no affect on Zab's bottom line...does not hurt him nor does not help him. Well actually helps a little bit in proving that points have a value and freely tradeable.

Furthermore you prove your ignorance so well I do not need to do it for you. I admitted that redemptions are good for Zab...check the log. Your question to him is two fold "Do you lose money when players use their Points and Carbon cash, to trade between themselves. Or do you make money when they redeem through YOU". He stated that he makes money redeeming but never agreed to your first part of the question....losing or hurting him in any way.

I haven't been on the site very long, but to say anyone who loans is an idiot confirms the fact you are the biggest idiot here. Just like the real world, some people here are not worth your time, like yourself, while others are good people who will do what they say. By observing or starting small you can tell pretty easily.

Go sit in the corner and tell yourself whatever you want. But you are the biggest chump here and really should stop being the fly in the room.

I have never loaned anyone anything here. Not that there arent a few that i would if asked directly but when someone is asking in chat i wont respond. But id like to think with the way i treat people that if i needed to someone would loan to me. Not that im going to ask just sayin.. I dont like borrowing in real life unless i absolutely have to(cause of no work)but i pay back with interest. My only advice is if you dont see these people in chat alot then dont loan to them.. if they are constantly begging dont loan but if you do its at your own risk of not being paid back but there does seem to be some good hearted people here who are willing to help street peddlers out//

Ive been burned alot from loaning, and I always quit loaning for a period of time cause I get pissed. There is a select few high rollers Ill loan to though as they are legit and keep u posted on the repayment and take care of business. I find the 200 point pikers to be annoying though.

i never ask anyone for a loan and i sometimes complain about the survey. but, i do alot of them everyday just to get some points. some work and some dont. when they dont work i try another one until i.get the points i need. if none of them work for about an hour or so i just use my credit card and buy some. seems t b e easier for me to just buy them

i saw something today about pokerowned can make you pay back loans if you try to stiff someone

and they should make you payif you wanna be a con man just go to work for the U.S. government. i think if you try to con someone out of thier points you should be banned for life from this site. some of us work really hard to get points to play on here.

had a dude come in the po client today begging for stakes, one guy gave him a stake, he beg for another, lost that as well and had the nerve to beg for another, while donking this guys chips away right in front of his face..rule #1 don't beg people in the po client for stakes , say like 20-30 times and this is your first time peeps have seen you around
