Some people play and chat a lot, others seem to just like to play the freerolls and not chat much. There's a lot of good information on this site and I think you'll find if you are active you will learn a lot of things about poker that you didn't already know. I talk too much in the chat, not so much at the tables.
People say that you shouldn't chat at the poker table when playing online, as it can be distracting and give away tells. I chat in the PO games and on the main page chat room, ther game but try to limit my chat in any online.
i chat in online games all the time, not so much here on this sites chat though.
ive been mostly chatting in game but if anyone wants to chat feel free to PM me
depends on how i feel. some days ill chat a little here and there and somedays none.
I guess it does depend on who's at a table with you. Some groups are just more lively, joking back and forth, and it's just an enjoyable game. Other groups talk very little or not at all.
I dont use the chat functions very much. I try and concentrate on my game and keep away from distractions...
Kinda off topic, but how did you do finish in that JS POFreeroll we were just at the final table together ?
i chat to myself alot while playing. sometimes i feel like chatting to a person for once.
I never chat on the forumm just post and read through stuff. And I rarely chat while playing poker.
i enjoy chatting while im playing. its fun
I have surprisingly been finding me at a few final tables lately, and for the first time, started using the chat. It is kind of fun having a little chat with the other fellows once the play slows down a little.
ok! There are several software that are very bad, and some not so safe, be careful . good luck.
It is up to each of us if we uses chat as another source of information :-) for opponents or for our advantage ;-) why not.
i think for me it depends on who is at the table some people i would chat with others no way
i like to chat really makes it fun staring at the screen for hours i dont talk to everyone just certain people i talk to

More and more recently do I find myself chatting a lot on the forums and on the ingame chats, but only when playing PO tourny's ! I guess you guys are a friendly bunch ! Haha
To begin with i was drawn to this site/community simply because of the freerolls that this site runs/sponsors so in the very beginning yes i was solely on and around this site so that i could earn enough points and participate in these daily freerolls. However since i have been a member here at pokerowned for a few months now i have realized how warm and inviting this community really is and i seem to find myself either posting in the forum or participating in the chat room thingy that is on the homepage once you log into here. I am sure that quite a few of the other members here will tell you the exact same thing that i just said about myself. I dont necessarily know or understand the point of your question however i gladly took the time to answer it..........

Sorry to pick on you, you seem nice, what I do not get is why people just continue to (seem to) flaunt the system and piss people like Zab off by continuing to make mention of the 5 points they get for posting. I don't chat much by like too go onto post and read and responsed.
Play hard, chat hard. Sometimes I see people that try to put other players on tilt by talking spit in the chatbox to them. Sometimes that is a good way to put your opponent on tilt. I(usually) don't resort that low though.

It's just seems kinda strange to not say anything in a game where most of the time you should be doing nothing. I doubt live games are as quiet as online ones.
