yeah i have read the super system by doyle b. great book...
You should have a look at some books in the twoplustwo book store.
The books there are all written by respectable writers, and are all fairly good.
Though, do make sure you get a book for the game you play
Yeah, I like Greensteins 'ace on the river'. It's well written by a guy who speaks from an 'average Joe' perspective (he isn't),without expecting you to master it all instantly.
"Online Ace" by the once highly televised crew member Scott Fishman helped me develop my Sit & Go strategy which has worked out pretty well for me so far. I highly reommend it if you plan on a lot of Sit & Go's.
you should check E-books | Casino Winning Tactics. Roulette Playing Strategies. Betfair Bets Exchange. Gambling Profit Systems there many free ebooks you can download
i have titles for books of poker but by reading this post it surely is an interesting field of books to choose from :).
I like gus hansen on youtube umm advanced poker stragety volume 2 i think helped me alot also Readem and Reap book and No LImit Life
I have to say Super System 2 also its one of the poker books i keep re-reading over and over again.
ive never read any poker books just taught myself to play would be interesting checking some of these books out
IM IN THE SAME BOAT AS KC
but sometime learning how to play from a book may not help in fact in my hurt it
i use to make a bit of money off horse raceing untill i learnt all the stats beside the horses name DAM IT
made more when i had no idea
Super System 1 and 2 are really good, but if you dont like to read Phil Hellmuth has a very good video course on holdem. I have found that to be more helpufl than anything.
i've always heard that the dan harrington books were the best poker books out there. i've been tempted 2 buy sum of negreanu's books, but i don't think he could teach sumone how 2 read people as good as he does, at least not in writing, & that's his best poker skill.
the little green book,,,,by Phil Gordon
there were rumors about galfond writing a book on theory.that would be great if published.
hi and its good you are interested in improving your game and the one of the best ways is to invest in one on or many of the many Poker books that are out there avaiable. You can go to the intenet or to your local book store to find them or you can go to the Library where you can check it out for free and return if you do not want to just yet shell out any money just yet for one. Its would be hard to reccommend just one as i do not know what you want to see in a book about poker. The choice is yours but if you are a beginner which i sense you may be , any of them may be good for you .
i usually learn poker at pokersholl of pokerstar, because Daniel Negreanu is my favourite poker player :)
"Poker For Dummies" was pretty helpul. it's mostly 4 beginner's, but it's good for more advanced players 2 go back & correct sum things that seem simple but r very important. kinda like when a great basketball player needs 2 go back & re-learn how 2 shoot free throws cuz they skipped over learning proper form in favor of dunks & 3 pointers.
get negreanu's books.. i own almost all of them power holdem being one of the best he is a good writer makes it easy to read and he has alot of good featuring players.. alot of my game is based of what he had to say.. remember when you read a book dont do it word for word.. mix what you read into your game
You can find pokerstrategy
I didn;t read yet any poker books , byt i think i will chose the The super sistem by Doyle Brunson
