Stalling the game doesn't really piss me off. I don't do it too much in MTT's, but I use it quite a bit in 6 handed SNG's if I'm chip leader or close on the bubble. Gets people all impatient and willing to shove on anything.

I should have titled this thread... "You Can't Rush the Progress of a Tourney and Expect to Win Very Often"
no hurry hurry like you got some where to go ill meet ya in the middle of the felt
when u take morethan 2minutes 4 every decision that tends to happen
This is very true... good hands will come, good hands will go.
patience is the primary focus in any tourney. Without patience you can't win on any kind of regular basis.
OP was dead right about the patience being most important in tourneys & generally correct about the players donking out. Think about it the player who will finish in 1st place is the one who last the LONGEST.
I've noticed a lot of players actually seem very rushed lately, like they reg but don't take into consideration how long the tourney might run. If you know the game generally ends in 4 hours, don't get excited about too many hands in the first hour. DUh.
Story of the new generation. Everyone's in a big hurry to get to the punchline. Presents good opportunities for the patient player.
