Well here we go, I know it is not that easy to win alot of money on online poker. Not many people can make a living off of it. All I have to say is that if you believe and play your heart out and carefully study how each player at your table plays then you have a good chance at winning. I turned 1$ yesterday into just over 1600$ in less than 24 hours on Carbon. I'm not the best player but anyone who thinks they can win has a shot. Good luck all!

pelonai, I had 1 dollar and won 40 bucks in a dollar turbo tourney. Then I played in a 10 dollar poker maximus and took 3rd place for around 1600$. It will happen to you just keep it up and play. I hope you kick some behind in poker today! Good luck on the virtual felt.
Thought this was going to be about Daniel Negreanu and his tweet lol. But thats great! Seems kinda hard and high variance but awesome story. Don't think bad bankroll management will survive in the long run so be careful.

I resigned myself to play a FPP Freeroll on PS and only play pocket-pairs...
I ended up trying to pull off a 7-6 win with what I thought was a read since most players went in on the all-ins.
anyone can win....stay positive, dont get tilted.....stay passive aggressive....tight and timid wont win youshit. Scared moneydont win money.

I have had similar days, I know the feeling. I remember wallowing in the micros for months, comfortable grinding my way up, and then POOF!!! - four figures. Then one day, POOF!!! - five figures.
Amazingly, a lot of players think, "Well, when I get into fields that aren't so full of donkeys, when I can finally play against a full table of solid players, then finally I will win," LOL. Persistence, patience, practice, hard work, study...all of these are required for consistent results, and it doesn't get easier against better fields.

It all sounds nice in theory but you will always have those people who will chase anything, and no matter how good your hand is preflop, or on the flop, you could even have the best hand at that point. You still NEVER know what the turn and river will bring.........
Hmm, congratulations, it is a great achievement so far. But poker is not only about winnings, more players must losse their money to brings 'couple' to win something :-) that is all about that ;) keep rolling

I don't really have a strategy when I play poker, however when playing a tournament I try and play each table as if it's the final table. Meaning, concentrate on my table and don't worry about the rest. Last night I believe I took 4th or 5th in Juicy game, i'm really not dure because I was falling asleep during the game, lol. As far as poker being a game of skill, I believe that it is, but some people would rather try and get lucky. (oftentimes they do ) Good luck in your games.
some people are so bad, that it doesn't matter how much they believe, they are not winning.
damn nice scores man... hopefully you do realise this was a bit of a fluke and I would recommend no buying into tourneys that are 25% of your bankroll though. Anyway awesome job
I had a 24 hour period where I played 3 tournaments. I had $100 in my account. I get 3rd in a $22 for $750, that night I go home fire up the $33 10k on stars, 1st for $4000, that next night, im at work and had my laptop with me, I start the $55 75k on stars. End up getting 2nd for $6900. from $100 to $12,000 in basically 24 hours!
lol yes will your wins in, you may also need to play good and have a lil luck too
