I suggest don't min raise limped pots. Raise bigger to isolate .
Or if you have a nice hand, you can three bet or four bet.
i min raise because i dont have any chips to raise, might as well raise 100
good question, I also often wonder about it - only reason can be to build a pot from LP with small PP or something like suited connectors I guess.

You can min raise to try to get some value out of hands that play well multi way like suited connectors.
min raising multi way pots is just asking for trouble.. very fishy move... often youll get raised... then what... don't make the game harder than it needs to be.... just my opinion.
