What would you do.... with Bullets

OK, So by no means am i a seasoned player but I found my self just outside the money on about a 1500 person freeroll with an average stack (60k) and bullets in late position. Player under the gun shoved with about 75k and someone in middle position with about 20K shoved. I put both of them on pairs and was really only scared of the large stack so I called. He hit his Jacks and I was out 3 places away. I know there are only two cards that can put me out if I don't hit but did I do the right thing outside the money? Should I just fold my friends up against the big stacks and wait it out a few more hands?

that's a tuff one. obviously you didn't do anything wrong AA your ahead. although its always kinda worry some just on the verge of bubling. I think it really comes down to if you were just trying to make a few bucks or win it. looks like u played it so u were trying to win it sir. good job bad luck ugh

Normal payout structure you did the right thing imo because you want a deep run to make any real money. Better to try and build a decent stack for a run at the top cashes then a min cash. The only exception would be if you really would be happy with a min cash (say you won a $109 ticket from a fr, a min cash in the game the ticket is for would be great!) or if it was a satellite and the top x amount get the same prize. If all the prizes are equal, then you should probably fold the AA if you've got at least an average stack and a bigger stack will put you all in.

If the difference between a min-cash and no cash is substantial for you, a fold is acceptable. But in most cases, and in most normal payout structures, you'd be leaving $$ on the table by folding. ICM-wise, if you are that close to the bubble and 1-2 players is willing to risk a bustout, you fold. No matter what your hand is, if you're putting your chips in pre-flop, you are risking elimination.

The Main Event or a super high roller maybe for ICM reasons but NEVER in a FREEROLL

i'm going 4 a win when i'm playing a freeroll not just to cash , so im willing to risk all my chips if necessary in this case its necessary

even against the worst hand you are 80 % . so in a free roll if you want to run deep you call. that being said if your only goal is to cash you fold your two best friends. typically running deep in a free roll is more profitable :cool:

Play to win, not cash. Call this every time without hesitation. If you lose, oh well.

it got to you. thats what gets me... a-a isn't really that good of a hand. unless u risk it all preflop n' some1 calls, ur going to be playing against str8s, flushes, two-pairs... if u do hit, ur prob not gonna get ne money out of it unless all four aces are in play. easy fold for me.

All in , its da only way. Its the new , and latest strategy, move em or lose em.

It can certainly be difficult for it NOT to get to you. But pushing all in preflop is the chance you take with any two cards. Every hand is flop dependent and river qualified.

It seems pocket aces get cracked all the time... I cringe when I get them... I think I'd rather have suited high connectors.... after the flop if somebody else was shoving, you should have figured someone elses pockets hit to trips or better.... donking and shoving less will keep you in longer

play them safe if u don't want to go bust......

100% call in that situation... You just got unlucky... It happens...

The other 90% of the time ur in this situation... You win... And stack up.

Just gota brush it off.. And move on... Otherwise itll tilt u down the road..

I bubbled a tourny the other day as one of the chip leaders against another chipleader... Flopping set of 10s... Vs top 2 aq.... It all goes in on the flop and he rivers a q.... It hurt.. But shit happens... Its best to move on..

I have had some crazy bad beats mainly coming from bovada and as of late BCP! I go all in and then am rivered almost every time by smaller pairs or some other hand gets trips on the end!! Also i notice if you bet a bull shit hand at these site site you win! I just want to play good cards but its hard to do so when the site will bail people out! I have been on the bail out end but not as often as being on the bad beat end, and it happens when i have really no bankroll! But all in all i know i will get back and soon!

I tell ppl this over n' over, AA is NOT a good hand.

If u do hit, ppl fold so you don't get the cash. Ppl with any suited connectors or low pocket pairs (that wil hit if it becomes HU) will beat you more often that not.
