I am learning how to build up a bankroll so I can move up limits from micro. I have played 20k at .2/.5, and .2/.4 and am maintaining a win rate of 14bb/100 between 4 sites. At about 40k I plan to move up to .5/.10. My minimum is 30 BIs and I'm sticking to no more than 2 tables for now. It's a lot of fun, and I hope to see you in the cash games! Good luck!
cant build up a bankroll playing micro man. you got to take a shot at high limits.
Start with free rolls and build your stack up .Then you can go with some of the old trading stock trading rules 2 to 10% per trade or in poker mtt,cash game,sng,whatever.The higher percentages are for the things you feel the most confident in whether its double ups torbos whatever
You can build a bankroll without having to spend a cent, but it takes time and patience.

This is true. Although I'm not going to lie, it's hard. Even if you win a Freeroll or two, the 2-3$ isn't enough to fight variance. I recommend either building up a few freeroll wins, or find a site with freerolls that suit you (I'm on 888 :3 made a grande from nothing). From there it's just luck man, until you have enough to beat variance at your stakes.Quote:

Manage your bankroll very strictly and play to your style. Make sure to make as few mistakes as possible
That isn't very strict at all. Some people say at least 100 buying for MTT... 50 FOR SNG... and minimum of 20 max buyin (100 big blind) for cash... and this is only if your a consistent winner.Quote:
