Took 3rd in live tournament today...Lost to big pots back to back..FLopped set of tens to lose to runner runner straight and then AKs vs pocket 7s where I flopped top pair and they hit 7 on river :/..Overall not bad though.

It was first time I played this touranment in about a month..Kept missing the registration and stuff lol

Yea me too...I played in this tournament twice last month..1st time last month took 2nd for around $800ish but there was around 180-190 people in that one and then....The other time I played in it there was about 160ish in it (played in that one with Prozach) but didnt cash, went out early :(...Flopped K-hi flush on a guy and he hit pair of aces on flop and then on turn he got 2 pair then boat on river :/Quote:

Shootout tournament is that you play more than one table, if it's double you only play 2 tournaments if it's triple you play more than x3 till you get in the final table.
A shoot out is a tournament where each table plays till their is only one player left then they move the remaining players to another table till someone wins,generally if you place first after the first table you make it to the final table(I say this I mean live tournaments which have lower fields than online ones)

haha ive been playing alot of live tournaments latley, bar poker casino tournys. did hella good yesterday, 5k freeroll 10$ addons for 5k chips, only start with 2k. everyone added on except me, some added on 100$, 50k chips i only started with 2k, out lasted so many people, but 3 hours in they finally stopped adding people, lost to blinds at 5,000/10,000 couldnt keep up. 1 addon and i bet i woulda made the money, the final prizepool after addons was over 20k!

I played another live tournament again tonight..Netted a good $700 from it for 7hrs of play (7pm -215ish am)...I'll post some pics later for diff stages throughout the tournament
