this is actually quite common ... ok, not everyday common but it happens

What it is in a nutshell is one of the players that caused it. (most of the time)

Player X palms an ace before he is moved to a new table ... Player X brings out the ace once when it is most beneficial to him.

Its the players that are out to get you, not the casino. Well the casinos are out to get you, but not dirty like that.
    -----------

Ruling is suppose to be all money entered in that hand is returned to original owner ... hand is void.

Time to look at the security tapes.

A.) The game was a 5/10 NL cash game these players werent moved to the table so obv a player wasnt just holding onto an ace of spades for an hour waiting to use it.

B.) The correct ruling on the hand is that ALL MONEY is return to EVERY player blinds stay the same and its treated as a misdeal.

I just think this is funny and is happening way to much at the rio in cash/tournaments and you NEVER see this online NOT ONCE. So there is some good proof for aka YAWN that the RNG is completely fine and not rigged.

Right it was a cash table. Point was it was almost certainly a player that caused it ... not the house. When a deck is introduced at the tables, the standard operating procedure is for the dealer to spread out all the cards and count them.

Whether the player palmed it earlier that day or a month ago ... who knows. The fact that it was an extra Ace and not a junk card like a 5 speaks volumes to it was player manipulation.

    ---

If I was at the table I would be suspicious of the two players with the ace. Human nature to put those two at the top of the list. Thing is the ace wasn't necessarily introduced that hand... check the tape before you start lynching.

that would suck if i had the real ace of spade. id be looking at the other guy suspect. and if he had nothing to do with it, hed be looking at me as suspect. i would feel horrible for this. this is why i need to keep my eyes peeled. one day i was at the casino i got a card delivered to me by dealer, was all bent and shit. very bent. some a hole bent the shit ouf of a card, marking em. i have never done shit like that nor wil i. if i need to win that bad ill play against the blind.

It has to be a player cheating, it can't be the casino's fault? lol C'mon now.

A casino in upstate NY (Native) got busted for too many 2's in the black jack deck - wonder is it was an honest mistake.
