super system by Doyle Brunson. reviewing sessions with other players is also good for improving your game. I'm surprised there isn't more of that on here. I guess its just more recreational players here that joined solely for freerolls than the more serious players on other forums.

People always say Super System and the Harrington books. Couldn't get through either myself....bored me to tears.
The Art of War...not meant to be a poker book but it fits very well!
Any book by a known respected player would be fine, hell read a couple there difference could help
