3 handed AK especially when you are the large stack is a good oppurtunity to Knock someone out. I would shove preflop and hope for one caller so I could knock one of them out.

Any ace is strong 3 handed as the average starting hand is much lower then that of a 9 handed game. So for the most part you will play it aggressive from any position

I live by the motto "you can't be knocked out if you are not all-in" so I never shove all in. I make a pot sized raise. If he has zip he folds. If he calls or comes back over I now have something to think about and the caution flag comes out.
I would shove under those conditions. As stated earlier, you are ahead of most hands
The only caveat here is that the small stack is playing for their life and most likely raising like this with a huge hand. Day in and day out you have to play AK at any cost but with a read I may have let them have the hand and take their next few blinds if I could; just out play them until they have to commit with a call instead of a pre flop raise.

I would have reraised to 15k. No one with pocket aces or kings is going to call they would shove all in. So if they did that I would fold and call it a 15k loss. If they you can play your game, if they fold you won their 4k in chips. Just what I would do but it really depends on the player and whether they are lag or tag.
definetly a push preflop, at least 6 times the blinds
