Internet outage robbery

Last night just after the 7PM games in which I got crushed early ( :mad: ).....

I decided to enter a $1000.00 gtd tourney with a sat ticket I had won. I was going really well... was getting great cards, great flops... and DONKS pushing at me left and right. Hell I only had to actually bet maybe twice, the rest of the time it was call-WIN. Ten minutes in. I had already accumulated a 10-1 chip lead over my nearest rival.

Then my internet went out.

A little over two hours later I get back to the tourney just in time to see my once mighty stack had been blinded down to one BB which was already all-in. What was worse.... I was bubble boy.

Thanks Poker Gods. I get the msg.

oh unlucky, but if you did it this time you hopefully can cash in the next gib tourney

That is really too bad and must have been real frustrating.
Good luck getting a ticket and playing again.

OMG. That really sucks. It coulda been a much bigger tourney. Buy a internet card.

Net card wouldn't have helped. The entire region was down across all platforms.

I too many a times have faced internet disconection Problems while playing online poker.Few seconds are added after disconection ,which gives much relief.So to avoid this i usally ensure that my internet wont stuck .Feels very bad when going good and internet disconnects.

i have the disconections time by time, sometimes i see my aces flew away etc. then i am angry but in some other situations this dont let me do a bigger bad beat regarding the end of the hand ;)

I've been there. Was in a huge tournament, played like 3 hours, already in the money. About 50ish players left, and I lose the internet. I got it back the next day. I got 10th place and that hurt a little.

this is still fine being the bubble guy is much harder to accept

I had this happen a few times to me. I was lucky and all but one time was able to call my buddy who lives a few states away to play the game until the net came back. I would give him a cut of winnings if he made money or even if he played when I was already in money. I have also had times where I couldnt get anyone to play and was scrawed. I was always extremely jacked on those occassions. I never could get the internet provider to believe they owed me a months service plus 1k for missing out on 1st..lol

I wish I had thought of this!! I was able to access PO, but I was to PO'ed to talk in chat. If I had, someone may have been willing to pick up the ball for me.

ive lost somnection plenty of times during SNGs. F'N horrible....Always seems to work fine untill I register then I would lose connection for an hor or so and by then I would be eliminated. lol

we have all been their.. i once personally was in $200 worth of headsup matches on full tilt playing razz heads ups.. when my power went out, i lost them all.

I would complain to the site and they wouldnt do shit even when the conneciton wasnt even on my end. horrible supporot

I think this mite be ok to do, if ur firend lived pretty close by to u,, casue in reality u couild just drive over to their house to play.and it would not look suspicious.BUT if u win, and they happen to see, in the middle of a tourney,ur IP is now coming from illinois, butyou live in california, i think that would look very suspicious tho lol...it does suck when internet probs happen in a good tourney tho. soooory.

internet providers are rigged.........:)

sooner or later this happens to most of us, but seems there is no better way to solve this problem.
