I try to focus less on my stack and more on the hand and pot odds in cash games where as in tournaments I'll make adjustments based on a whole bunch of factors related to where I'm at at any given time.

i personally feel more confortable playing PLO cash, brm its also very important
YEP, feel free to be comfortable with the games/stakes you played. If not, you need to 'downgrade' or even stop playing until built-up some stable BR.

I prefer tourneys also!! I tend to lose my cool at cash games!
I experience the same issue. I am quite adept at tournament play, and regularly place deep, but I have a definite problem when it comes to cash games. The differences are subtle yet integral to your success. The main thing is that in a tournament your stack is your lifeblood and you have a much greater influence when you have a bigger stack. In a cash game it's all for value baby.
Cash is the highest return on investment if you are willing to study and learn. First, bet your pre-flop game solid. Learn what hands play well in position, and play tight out of position. Read some books---start with Harrington. Read on-line forums and columns. Get a HUD when you get serious. Then, play 20k hands or so, and learn what works for you. Don't bluff too much or overplay marginal hands. You will love cash games once you know them :)
