How many tourney's will an average player cash in or even win? (A MTT) I know there are a lot of variables. I guess it depends on the stakes and the field size. I heard that a decent player would hit about 1 out of 40 times.

idk, I think I'm 43% of something.
I would say around 35-40%. I am only around 25 right now though.
If you look thru the poker db at bluff magazine youll find that the best players only cash around 15 to 19% of the time. Wining one is around .5 to 1% of the time
