i feel like I am a lot better at tournaments then cash. However the short term returns are much better in cash. I am working on my cash game a lot live. I dont like cash online. I always seem to lose. Li\ve I win about half the time i play.

I am way better at MTT's more than I am at 10 man sit and goes. I have recently started to try and improve my cash game. Cash games are rewarded quicker rather than tourney's. But if you are a good grinder you can make a decent cash or win playing tourney's.
I prefer to play cash game because I think is more fun to play, but my results are better on tournaments too.
I suck at cash games,,,Sit and go's I prefer,,,and multi tables also,,, Wish I could play better cash tho,,,oh well
Wagon I have seen how you play in the PO tourney's. You have a lot of patience like me, I think if you tried to just do cash games for a couple weeks you could build a decent roll. I used to suck at cash games but I think I have better understanding nowQuote:

Cash you can reset after every hand, and have no blind increases, therefore you can be as patient as you need to be. If someone sucks out on you, you can count on being repaid with interest unless they hit and run.
The down side is it can be way more boring than a tourney.
i like online tourneys the most sit-n-go multitable what ever don't really like cash games online will sometimes play em to score points but never with high buy ins used 2 live in vegas and got turned out 2 live cash games love em

Tourneys are my best game. I usually win money in tourney and lose it at a cash table lol
Very true...The poker room by my place is open 24/7 from friday to monday at 4am so there is a lot of fish that find their ways in there after 5pm on Friday that throw down a lot of cash at the tablesQuote:

I play poker for fun, as a hobby, and I have a dream of playing in the World Series some day. Therefore, I play almost exclusively MTTs. If I were going to play more as a source of income, I would definitely take up the cash game.
I love cash games but I lose more money there in the long run...
I play some cash games, but I prefer MTT or sitngo. The players in cash are usually more daring and agressive than in tourneys.
Im with you Drivembig , I also prefer a sitngo, I really miss the rush poker that fulltilt had :)

I think MTT's are the most exiting for the most obvious reasons. But usually sit and go's are the way to go. Dont like to play cash online for the most part.

sng bounties on carbon are good bank roll buidlers, start out with 2 the dollars and once your bankroll is up go to 5, 10 and even 20..their are only 10 people on the table total, it does not last long.. i built at least 3 bankroll to 300 to 500 dollars this way..gl
depends on the game.. I generallly prefer tourney as well.. placed in the money in my first H.O.R.S.E tournament today! my absolute fave for some reason.. keeps u on ur toes.. but i mostly play really low level cash.. with all the carp.. u can imagine the frustration .. prolly better off to play like 2/4.. where the better players usually live... but ive never sat down for more than penny blinds online.. only live.. but its not too much different.. if u sit at the 1/2 table live .. it seems like a AIF freeroll... lol save a stack.. and its a much better game.. cash or tourney...
I use to play cash when i was on ftp and stars as there were lots of FLHE games, but since no more big 2. I'm only playin sng now.
i only play no limit and a little omaha that other stuff
i have NFI but done well in cash games as of late
i try to mix it up .. a little nlhe a little omaha 8 and and horse .. bith cash and tournies
i always seem to lose at cash tables but when there is no SNG or MTT's running i always find myself there losing like usual

I prefer a tourney to cash games. To me who ever has the most cash on the table/in pocket can shove everyone else around which a tourney we all start with even stacks
