Carbon poker, too many aces?

No, I do not mean " ace " players.

Here's what I'm talking about, it seems to mean on Carbon Poker there are too many aces, in general.

Remember, Aces are just 4 out of 52 cards in a Deck. When someone is dealt them, its now 3 aces left of 50 unseen cards. So why is it on so many flops there are aces? Not just flops, but turns and rivers, too. If you go back thru your hand history look for a moment on a Board and notice how very many times aces show up.

And this, you get dealt Kings or Queens, You showdown with A-x, aces SHOULD NOT show up that often, but I know I see them in this situation constantly show up, not just on me but watching other players.


So here's the question for you to answer: Are there too many Aces in play on Carbon Poker?

I think there are 4 aces in a 52 card deck. With 10 people playing on a table, the odds are that you will see at least 1 ace if not more every hand. The problem lies not in how often you see an ace but rather how many people will play a hand with A-rag simply because they have an ace. I stand by the fact that there are no rigged poker sites. If you are seeing more aces on one poker site over another, you should consider the type of games you are playing (micro v. larger buy-in) as well as the population size and quality. If you want to see less aces, try a larger poker site and/or a larger buy-in. :)

play 1,000 hands and then go through your hand history and check. i am sure it will be pretty close to the proper percentage...

I would say no. People tend to stick around with ace hands longer then what is probably correct. That includes pre and post. One of my most popular notes on people is "overplays ace rag".

Nah, i think it is pretty straight forward. I once thought carbon was fixed, but count all the times you beat someone with a flush on the river, when they flop a straight? it goes both ways.

LMAO it is funny that this thread is here. Just over the weekend after getting donked around with A anything and an Ace always hitting, I jokingly asked a friend how many friggen aces does Carbon have in their decks. I do not think it is rigged or anything like that but I was just so tilted.

yes you are right when playing lower buy ins it does seem like more of them but in reallity there are just more people playing ace rag and catching. in long run the solid play will over come them

suck a great statement ... that therory plays out on high stakes.. but not always still occasionally see someone at higher stakes who doesn't belong there

If u want to see a flop with an Ace on it just go up agaisnt KK or have KK and the Ace will show up. LOL

I have noticed too that an ace always hits. Every 3 out of 4 flops has an ace.

i dont see what the problem is just get more aces :)

If you ever see me play ace/rag just shoot me,,it's unreal how many people do,,even out of position, and suck out,,,,but it happens

I don't think this happens just on Carbon Poker, actually I don't think this happen in any poker room, but I already thought the same thing as you.

I think if you analyze a bigger amount of hand histories, you will see that the ace don't come more than the other hands.

Buyin SHOULD NEVER affect odds of any card coming out plain and simple.... Play 1000 hands online and 1000 hands live and you will see a HUGE difference in the amount of aces on the flop, turn or river. 3 Outers arent as common live as they are online. people seem to forget that if you get donked by ace rag player there is no long run cause your most likely out. So the long run means squat if youve already been donked out. LOL yes as you may have already guessed im VERY skeptical of online deals. If i cant see the dealer shuffling then to me its not that random when that miracle 3 outer hits like it does soooo often online. Yes bad beats happen live but i used to play 5 nights a week live and i wouldnt see in 5 nights of live play what i see in one sng let alone a turny.. And theres really no way to argue this point as there is no way to document whats normal Live vrs online since you cant keep history or records of hands in live play.. So whats to say whats normal in live or online play, all we can go by is what the "book" says. Just a devils advocate here..

you dont see as many suckouts because in those 5 nights of play live you play the total of one day of online poker. Also playing live ppl dont donk as much, cuz they know you have it or they have the worst. when someoen cant see you they dont believe you more thus they go in weak.

You really think that in 5 nights of(play) at least 100 hands(per night) (usually alot more) that 1 sng(100 hands if that) im gonna see less hands then online. 500 live vrs 100 online ? but yet im going to see more online? The weaker hands shouldnt be overcoming steeper odds more then the better hands coming somewhere close to there odds..If i have the better hand i dont have to hit to win the other player has to hit to win and then my odds of hitting should at least be the same as someone else yet you see the worst hand winning alot more then odds allow. But thats RNG for ya

I think what happens is that there are a lot of donks and who stay until the river and hit the ace and normally you would't have seen it because they should have folded earlier.

lol you noticed that carbon has way too many aces too. everytime i get KK or JJ the flop always has an ace on it. seems kind of strange to me.

Wow! totally varied opinions i want some clarity: Do we or do we not agree on this proposal: That merge (carbon) has a statistical influx of aces?

I hear people talk about merge being rigged this that and the other blah blah blah. I say who cares and deal with it. It is a computer program it will never be able to exactly duplicate what humans do. So if you don't like it don't play it. I just play with what they give me and try to make a few dollars.

it is not shuffling of the cards it is a computer program

Someone has to push something in , or chase something other wise its kinda cowardly to say A's got you beat. But yeah its something to think about when your playing.
