Any one have any best books theyve read. I liked Phil Gordon's Little Green Book and I am going to read his new little gold book soon.
I have read doyles super system, phil helmuths one, and one other cant remember them all.......all good books though
I have not read any by big name pros but have read a few from guys who went to big colleges.
Most of the stuff I read i couldn't comprehend.
Haha ya some of the stuff is pretty complicated.
Haven´t read a poker book so far, but plannin to do so, but don´t know which one...
havent read any books dont have time
do alright at play and learn from mistakes at the tables
The poker bible(doyles book), vorhaus(killer poker or kill online poker) tom mcevoy, i have 2 of his. All good reads. From Doyles aggressive style to mcevoys tight/solid selective agression
Haven´t read a poker book so far, but plannin to do so, but don´t know which one...
i mean i can say both the super systems but that will be the most recommended so i dunno
I'm not that serous about poker so I have not read any but play poker like the pros I hear is good.
dead mans hand. it is not poker strategy type lit, more of a poker story. pretty good by Swain
I don't read poker books and never read any books.
the art of war is the best poker book, period
I'm currently reading "The mental game of poker" by Jared Tendler (proven strategies for improving tilt control, confidence, motivation, coping with variance and more).
Great read so far but it'll take some time to sink in. Just reading cover to cover isn't good enough.
Super system is old and kind of out dated, phil helmuths also, phil gordon green book is real good, and so is art of war , yes by sun tzu, they put his stratagy in terms of poker and its sick. most poker books are shit you should already know really, daniel negranu small ball style is worth reading about, I heard annie duke co wrote a book with some other pro and thats its real good too.
i need to read that one sounds great.
the art of war is a good book too for poker.
Those harrington series are pretty good
Supersystem since thats the only book ive read lol
Supersystem is prob the best...i also read Phil hellmuths book but i didnt like it too much....Supersystem is the best all around poker book...Doesnt really have much on NLHE its more about every game, Im trying to find a book about strickly NLHE and NLHE MTTs, and Online Poker books....any advice?
Supersystem is a good book but dated ... Also if you are playing freeroll/nickle tables the advice isn't geared towards that.
The "best" poker book depends on a ton of factors ... cash vs tourney ... stakes ... games ... where your game currently is (beginner vs intermediate vs advanced).
i dont read a book a poker... but have a great suggestion ;)
I have read doyles super system
yes doyles super system is good. also both of dan harintons books are great
"The Little Gteen Book" by Phil Gordon,,, It's a good start,,,
I really like the super systems been great info so I would reccomend those definitely
Super System is great for playing a deep stack. There are other books more helpful regarding tourney and less than a deep stack play.
I have read doyles super system, phil helmuths one, and one other cant remember them all.......all good books though
I have no issue with anyone that finds poker books/guides helpful, but not for me - better off reading material online and studying the pro's play at both live tables and netgames.
Pretty sure 98% of the people on this forum don't know how to read
I have not read any by big name pros but have read a few from guys who went to big colleges.
all good books guys.....i beleive "the guide to WSOP tournaments" book is good........super systems is a little dated though....if you want to read it go with "super systems 2"......its basically the same book just updated a little
well i read dans 2 books and those i liked alot...
im going through my gus hansen book again.. it gives a better understanding on how a good player thinks. pretty good tho so far.
