I used to play on FullTilt. I stopped playing for some time and now starting to play again. Currently playing on Carbon and considering Black Chip Poker. My question is whether it is worth joining FullTilt or Pokerstars for a US Player. I do not want to deposit if it is going into a hole. There has been talk about these sites opening up soon for US. What are your thoughts?
Pokerstars did bid to be the holding company for casinos in New Jersey but lost so they will not be operating there. I believe Ultimate Bet did win for the bid in Nevada. Now if it becomes legal in other states lets say Louisiana for instance, Harrah's which is an offspring there from Atlantic City - would probably use its now holding company - so I don't think Pokerstars will not operate big in US. Just my thoughts.
US players are banned from playing on PS and FT, simple as that. They are not an option otherwise we would all be playing there.
I would never play on full tilt or poker stars again myself!!!!
its not worth it unless u have someone outside of the us that u can trust with money. only because if u hit a big score and they dont sent ur cut u have no way of outting them. without locking the money up.
True. If they were allowed to once again do business with the U.S., pokerowned would probably have more members because of the promos for freerolls. Hopefully, once ftp players start getting paid, then maybe the government will allow pokerstars back in.Quote:

I don't think US is banned from PS and FT, right? But we can't play real money games, just play money. Which, I realize, kind of boils down to the same thing - what's the point of even installing the software?
I thought u could not even play play money on stars or FT. I could of swore u would not even be able to download the software without them stopping u saying u can since in us. I;m pretty sure
The new game on demand at ACR is great way to build your roll out of dog pooooo !!!!!! Takes for ever unless you gods gift to poker but fun and quick action.
I will play on PS or FT when they are legal for US players. They are finding ways to make it right cause there is too much $$ to make from US players. I think black Friday will work in US players favor but it is taking too long lol.
yeah...its not available to US players to play atm unless you go shady with a vpn etc...waste of space
