The Truth About Lock Poker

Hi guys,

What is the real truth about this site? I have heard so much bad news about Lock and I really am hoping that it is not all the way correct.

I see a ton of players on that site and according to Free Poker Over $13,102,725 in free poker promotions given away! it is one of the largest USA sites out here.


Also, lots of people say they really like the software.

Now for the cons ... I hear it takes over 2 months to cashout. This IMO is absolutely sick! I do not care to support this. Are there not quicker ways to get your money off the site by paying a little extra?

The other news/rumor is that if you have ever gotten a transfer then you cannot cash out. Is this true? or is it simply a play through kind of deal?

In the mean time I have these questions emailed to their support staff.


Please do comment in detail if you have info ... for this is a much talked about subject

The only thing I can say is that a long cash out period is pretty standard for US players these days. My last cash out from Bovada took about ten weeks.

i rather go to the casino then deposit into these websites that take forever to paid.

Just go to Pokerstars, you wont have this problem. Oo but wait your usa right? well that sucks..

the long period cashout just sucks, i think that is the most important part...

a long cash out is better than no cashout, and if u win the 100K and take the 20K first place (i figure avg thats what it is) then who cares how long u have to wait?

the only time i know that players have had funds withheld etc is if they have been caught colluding or if someone u have traded with has been caught colluding

all these sites dont pay out. its a scam. you have to jump thru hoops and stuff.

playing u at poker wouldnt make u any less of a tool, learning to read at a higher level than a 5th grader would make u less of a tool, being able to select an option out of 2 instead of just answering "yes" would make u less of a tool as it stands u can do neither

ive never played at lock, because of all the bad things i have heard!! but yes sites do cash out, just takes a while and verifying!! i have withdrawn from carbon!! took about 8 weeks!! ive been wanting to try lock, but am scared!!

There have to be better options available for US players than a 2 month cashout wait.

A faster way may be to trade funds with other PO members. MARKETPLACE ROCKS!

I personally wouldn't deposit at lock if they offered to sell me poker chips at 10 cents for 1 dollars worth

If you really research what's going on with Lock Poker you would see why WPN is growing so rapidly. It's like a migration.

2+2 strongly, strongly urged me to avoid depositing money on Lock Poker. WPN has been great thus far, though.

If someone has evidence to the contrary, believe me - I'm all ears. I wanted to play on Lock initially but after hearing the horror stories I started playing on BCP.

Have been waiting for a payout from the Revolution Gaming Network since November of last year. Hoping to get paid by Christmas, which was the same time line for FullTilt to have U.S. players paid last year.

my heart goes out to you 2. I strongly advise people to listen to what you 2 are saying.
