How come there are no entries for the Cake freeroll tourney on Monday May 30th??
Donīt know, because I am not on Cake, but I guess something went wrong
Excellent question I never even knew I could sign up for freerolls there until recently? So.... where and how do we sign up?
Maybe it was just a test with Cake and therefore it was such a low buy in (40 points)
40 points would really be worth it if you are the only person who signed up! Is there a minimum number of players for these Cake freerolls to take place?

I never play on Cake-Security has messed up my account on several site due to verification issues-All of my account were in good standing but security loved to lock accounts for fun-no money lost just my time-lol
Becuase these tournament start so damn late, that's why there is no one sign up..

I think that lack of participation is a combination of things:
1) It is very late. We had a test with Carbon with a late game and it had fewer than average numbers too.
2) Cake's poker software is just awful. Not only 2.0 but people are even having issues with the version 1 client.
3) The payout is low (but my argument to that is that the point buy-in is even lower/dollar payout than Carbon or Full Tilt)
At the end of the day, it is still a free tournament. This site is all about free-rolls yet we have a hard time hitting numbers. If we had the opportunity, I would suggest moving the cake tournament to roll in between the 2 Carbon tournaments (yes I know that would mean over-lapping tournaments but running it at like 6 would diminish that effect). Moving it to an earlier time would give it a better chance of getting populated.
Otherwise, I would live without a Cake tournament... especially if we could get another carbon tournament... :)
I'll be playing in as many Cake tournaments as I can. I hate Carbon. Cake actually answers my e-mails; intelligently too. I just feel safe on Cake.
I'm trying to play many cake freerolls as I can too, this week I've been kind busy so I only played one, will try to play more.
I don't like Cake Poker that much, rewards program I don't like.
Are the Cake freerolls getting the required 10 players now? It seems a shame to have to cancel them, when only 40 pts buys you a spot!

Yeah, to get my Cake 2.0 to work, it usually gives me seven seconds to enter the password, any longer and it will remove the place where I was supposed to enter the password.. So I first memorize the password repeating it 3 times, there's no place like Cake, there's no place like Cake, there's no place like Cake. Would you believe the password contains at least 5 number and 5 letters.
Twice when I entered the password and I got into the tourney with 10 players and twice I did not enter password quickly enough and tourney was cancelled with 9 players.
how many people usually join this and how far does it pay out just wondering because i dont wanna waste my points
I have never seen more than 16 entrants for this Cake tourney, it has also been cancelled because 10 players is minimum allowed(wish they would drop it to 5, lol). Pays 10 players. 10th place getting 30 cents, 5th or 6th getting 66 cents, first getting $3 just off the top of my head.
Today it was just 11 registered haha funny but true.
