I agree with tournaments not bringing in nearly as much profit as they do with rake from rings games. they are making plenty of money trust me.

As for carbon not rraching theyre guaranteeds they do most of the time,specially in maximus with those long as lr times and the worst part is they have re entry.
I played last night the 30k for 22bi and after 2 1/2 hours i got ko with 13k chips and the buy in gave you 5k starung chips,so its not that much of an advantage to star early
Very little overhead also - big advantage over brick-and-mortar casinos
I suspect their cash cow is the rake on cash games, more than the tourney fees
I've said it before and ill say again i hate Carbon. Especially the customer service
They make money by the sportsbook. that's their number one cash cow.
