So it occurred to me the other day when I considered creating a new account on SWC to take advantage of the Loyalty Discount here. And, I can because of the anonymity they allow their users to have. What's to stop someone from creating multiple accounts and playing them in the same game. The only answer I could come up with is IP addresses. But, tech savvy guys can easily get around that. I haven't notice anything fishy but I'm just wondering? Has SWC addressed this?
The issue you described; isnt that the same issue that every cardroom has to deal with?

From all that I have heard, SWC has a "no holds barred" approach to online poker, they dont care about multi-accounts, skype, collusion, VPNs, or basically any normal rules that other poker sites frown on.
doesn't seem to be smart for business in the long term if this is statement does hold any merit and truth and would seem to me that in the long term would cause traffic loss .. they ought to be smarter then that, no?Quote:

Sorry, but this seems very unlikely. It is not a sustainable model. If folks believe this is the case, they will never invest an any money in the site. I know they don't use "real money", but somewhere real money is involved in the currency they do use.Quote:

Reading this thread makes me not want to play SWC even more then I already didn't. Seems like a joke to me.
Guess its a good thing i never heard of this site. I hd a run in with a trio on ftp. Its cool to play with friends online aslong as your honest ad not cheating but not everybody sees it that way.
i pretty much stayed away from it until recently and it has been paying off better than any other site.. people pay with gdmp all the time... only reason i like it.. instant cash money son!!!!
its a fact, due to the lack of requirements to register, there is very much colluding, multiaccounting and so forth. They will have to address these issues if they ever want to be truly legit in my view. I see it all the time, where someone i know has 2 or 3 names in a tourney, its pretty sick
I'll never play there to risky as far as security goes.
I have never heard of this site. How long as it been open and whats the software like. Good or Bad or same let me know what you think?
I have never heard of a poker site that is free from collusion. Carbon is no safer, for all you know you could be sandwiched between two multis. The only difference is SWC doesn't pretend it can prevent this.

That being said, it is very easy for scammers to just create new accounts once they are banned, which as someone mentioned above ppl do everywhere. I will play there at times, but will not invest any real life money into it.

While I don't agree with any kind of cheating, I find SWC honesty refreshing and I worry alot less about them causing me problems like other sites are known for.
Even Bovada is an anonymous player site. There is no such thing as taking notes on a player for subsequent play another tourney..Quote:

At least they are honest about the fact they can't stop multis. They are offering advantages to balance that though. Fastest cashouts in the business....total anonymity.
