starting this month the $200 freerolls on merge sites have been cut to only $50... Is there trouble brewing in the merge network? Also the player admin page no longer works! Anyone know what is going on????

That sux. :( Where was this posted?
I stay the hell away from Carbon. That site is still accepting US players isn\'t it? DOJ would pounce at any moment.
so what does this all mean? if anyone finds something out, let me know please...
who ever know s really,,, they dont always make the guarenteeees on some of the tounrey now tooo, and so little traffic at nite time too. maybe they cutting back, casue losing somome moeny??.....noone prolly knowss really
Actually its better because it is cash instead of tickets.
so what does this all mean?pleaseee keep me posted
prob just are trying to make more people deposit and dont want to give away too much during freerolls
i wouldnt worry much. i think they are just trying to save money. The have reduced their guarantees as well in tournaments such as the "$200 guarantee bounty" It is now only $150 guarantee.
who cares carbon sux!
I would say this means they are continuing to focus on better promotions for people who actually play rather than simply register for free rolls over and over hoping to get lucky.
dont really matter...barely even play em...if i do its b.c im playing a shit load of other games and like to pass time and not focus on playin to many hands
they always change there shit lol wouldnt worry to much though last time they had $50 freerolls there was one like every 2 hours so if they bring that back it would be cool
like it better for cash instead of tickets and is it every two hours now that would be great
They does seem a little suspicious, but there could be many reasons why they are doing it.
They were not worth playing at $200, now they are even more useless.
As for the admin page, I had to access it from the web this weekend because i could not log in from the lobby.
Well hopefully they are not the next site to close down business...
Not the best news I guess, hopefully this is not a bad sign...
This almost makes playing the freerolls pointless. Spend 4 hours to get a 1 in 5000 chance at a few bucks. It's a waste of time. Do they still have the fun steps? Those are more worth it now. And Hero has some good freerolls still -- people who like merge should check that out.
Also: 125K Sunday guarantee is now 100K. I noticed fewer than 1000 entrants in last nights 125K.
125 seats to 125K freeroll is now 50 seats to the 100K. Though the requirements are easier (100 points vs. 250 points), that just means there are going to be a lot more entries.
Something definitely going on here, and probably not good. But since Black Friday I've been holding my breath with the merge sites.
seems just like they neeed to spend less moeny then they have been doing , to keep going maybe.
something fishy goin on , r they goin broke
a lot of the sites are doing that lock doesnt even have any freerolls
they also took the 6 handed sng .11 cents away they are gone carbon not cool
another reason for me not to play them
They are listed as 'Restricted'. You won't be able to sign up for all of them (some have certain restrictions), but they have $99 nightly (top 9 get $11), plus $100 where the top 3 get paid (50, 30, 20). The only thing with these tournaments is that you have to earn VIP points before you can cash out (something like 10 for every dollar). But that doesn't really matter (to me anyway) since you can start using the winnings to play right away. I actually think it's quite clever.
They also have good micro-tournaments: 33 cents with standard (non-turbo) levels. And I think their VIP program is very conducive to small-stakes players.
