Hi everyone,
As a player currently living in one of thirteen states whom offer only two options when it comes to online poker, I am getting very disscusted with my online playing options. Its high time all the millions of us online poker players stand up and make our voices heard! Sadly my state only offers 2 of the worst sites out there as play options so I'm asking for everyone heres help. Please call, write or both to congress and local government and voice your thoughts on the matter. Remember; United we stand, Divided we fall!
Update- Thanks for all the feedback and support everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know about so,e of the happenings since my original post. The biggest news regarding this thread is the discovery of poker support sites like Poker Players Alliance or PPA and 2 plus 2. These two sites are great places to find the latest news from the poker world. I recommend everyone checks them out!

Every poker player in the United States of America needs to band together and fight these attacks on our Constitutional rights. It wouldn't even hurt to have players from other countries do what they can to influence our government to do the right thing. Perhaps PokerOwned could reach out to other poker forums and online casinos to enlist them in our fight. We need a platform to fight this, we need a group to organize and lead us into battle against these Neo-Nazi control freaks before we wake up one day and realize we are trapped in a prison of our own design rather than the greatest nation in the world. Let freedom ring, band together, make a stand and make them understand that we the people are what makes the world go around. Something must be done and be done soon before its to late!

Very nice said. You have my support.
You know, seeing things from outside(im brazillian) only makes it easier to realize that your nation (as many others!) is going through some kind of "collective dementia" or something, ... you know, with all that "politically correct attitudes", the abuse of judicial power, the police brutality and all that stuff, ... but, anyway, its really nice to see that some americans have the least sense of ridiculous to see beyond all this facts and catch a glimpse of a better way to do things and a better way to live our short lifes.......as a tiny man once said: "As long as men die, there will always be freedom."

In the beginning God said : "The four dimensional divergence of an antisymmetric second rank tensor equals zero", and at once there was light.

Thank you. We Americans take alot of crap for things we have no tangible power over, i.e our gov. Look at the last three elections! All have had some issue involving possible fraud. They really are out of our control... and I know many Americans who do not agree with our policys or the way we deal with our own citizens and other people around the world. I wish there was an easy answer but sadly I feel the only thing that could get us back on track would be a total collapse of all global financial centers. Then and only then will the healing and rebuilding being. USA is a total house of cards waiting to be blown away with the wind, its just sad to have young children and be stuck here trying to survive the storm...

Ideally real brick and mortar casino's will get into the online game. That would add a bit of legitimacy and give many U.S players a sense of secerity we lack dealing with off-shore fly by night companies that charge criminal international banking fees on your deposits and withdraws.

I'm sorry but I cant recall them off the top of my head and I looked around for the document I got the info from but again, no luck. I do know that Kentucky is one of them and being a resident of that state, I am only offered registration to 2 online poker rooms. I'm not 100% but I believe Washington maybe one of the 13 also...?

I believe this is the present.. I am optimistic after hearing a lot of news dealing with Caesars Entertainment signing new legislation in Nevada to offer the first US poker site in early 2013...
With this it's only inevitable before the, "sport/game" call it what you will, returns to the US.
