Mike Scarborough wins the 2011 Hollywood Poker Open defeating Erik Seidel.
Scarborough, local amateur player at the Indiana Casino where the event was held, ran well winning two No Limit Hold’em events and final tabled a third for over $36,000. The $10,000 WPT Main Event paid $273,664 for the championship.
The Cincinnati Kid started the final day 3rd in chips (631,500), right behind Erik Seidel (633,000) and a double up away from William Reynolds (1,181,500). The final table 6 seater rounded off with short stacks, Ali Eslami (212,000), Tom Marchese (206,500), and Andy Whetstone (72,000).
