i love how u guys are giving him shit for posting just for the points when ur doing the same thing. Just stating that someone is posting for points isn't contributing either it just gives you an excuse to post for points without anyone calling you on it, well im calling you on it.. So back to my first post and WILDS response, ya he has a couple books and a lot of videos online and i have read chapters in some of his books and have watched a lot of his videos but do you know anything about that particular book? I like to take a break and read a book over christmas and this year i want to go with a poker book, so any insight on 'Power Hold'em Strategy'?

Daniel's reads are amazing. He's gotta be my favorite poker player, and he seems so down to earth as well.

On a side note..I think the OP Malykodo should write a book...... and then write another translator book so we can know what the f#@! he/she is trying to say.

Okay im going to step in and try to make something out of this thread, Who has read Daniel Negreanu's 'Power Hold'em Strategy' is it worth buying? how much does it focus on MTTs compared to cash games? does it contain an online section? thanks in advance for ur input.

I have a copy right now that I've read through and occasionally check out from time to time. Its good solid poker advice. There's a few sections written by some other pros - also good advice. Some great sections about cash games (Todd Brunson and David Williams) but Negreanu's section is all about MTTs. Its pretty much his smallball book inside of a bigger book. Its a very solid strategy - just make sure you have the BR for it!

He actually has written a few books. Pretty good reads in my opinion.
